Chard is a half-breed fosterling of Garyn Kei. His war-specialty is stealth. Though young, he possesses a great deal of maturity for his age due to his half-blood. Chard claims Rowan as a big brother and sometimes-protector, though it's often the younger Chard who ends up helping out Rowan in battle.
